Prepare for English exams with us! At The Marlowe School, our English language school in Oviedo, we are already preparing for the countdown to the Cambridge examsin particular First Certificate, Advanced and Proficiency and also for the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas.

In this respect, we are no different to any other English language school in Oviedo, but we are convinced that at The Marlowe School we go the extra mile to ensure that our English students in Oviedo are well prepared on exam day.

To help our students decide whether the time has come to take the exam or whether it would be better to wait until the next exam, we offer them a mock exam which they take under the same conditions as the real exam. Many of the students who get a good mark will move on to a group whose aim is to prepare for the exam, working on the tests taken in previous years. For all these reasons, The Marlowe School is a good place to prepare for English exams!

We pay special attention to the oral exam in order to increase the candidates' sense of self-confidence. This is a test with a clear psychological component in which repetitive practice helps a lot to avoid stage fright when faced with such an exercise.

Students who prefer to remain in their usual group, preparing for the exam at their own pace, have the constant support of the teacher.

The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas exams, especially at Intermediate (B1), Advanced (B2) and C1 levels, are also an objective for students at our English language school. To help them, we incorporate material in class consisting of past tests and work to do at home. With the teacher's suggestions and corrections, students progressively improve until they arrive on the day of the exam with the right preparation to be able to face it satisfactorily.

We are not forgetting the English test of the EBAU (university entrance exam for Baccalaureate students).

This English exam has a very particular character and requires careful preparation work so that young people understand what they have to do to demonstrate their real knowledge of English and get a good mark.
